Based in Brasilia, Arthur closely follows the latest developments in Brazilian congress on a range of topics, from fiscal and tax reforms to sector-specific legislation. He also monitors supreme court decisions. 

Prior to joining Eurasia Group, Arthur worked as a TV and radio reporter, following important events in Brazilian politics such as the impeachment of former president Dilma Rousseff in 2016 and Jair Bolsonaro's election as president in 2018. Arthur has a bachelor's degree in journalism from the Universidade Catolica de Brasilia. 

A native of Mato Grosso do Sul, a state in Brazil's interior, Arthur likes to ride horses and cook in his spare time.
