Jeremy Chan is a senior analyst on the China and Northeast Asia team at Eurasia Group. He focuses on China's foreign policy and the Korean peninsula and helps clients navigate risks related to China's external relations, inter-Korean dynamics, and regional security.
Jeremy previously spent a decade in East Asia, including as a US diplomat with tours in China and Japan, and with the SK Group in China and South Korea. Jeremy also worked for The Tony Blair Institute for Global Change in the Middle East, where he led a team of analysts in providing policy recommendations to senior government stakeholders.
Jeremy holds a master's degree in China and Korea studies from the Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies, including a year at the Hopkins-Nanjing Center, and a bachelor's degree in comparative literature from Princeton University.
