As head of Eurasia Group's Trade & Supply Chain practice, Jon Lang manages coverage of global efforts to diversify supply chains, emerging industrial policies, and trends in and policy tools for international trade. Jon also leads the firm's coverage of infrastructure investment in support of supply chains, of logistics trends, and of the national security dimensions of supply chain policy. Jon previously served as director for international economic affairs at the White House National Economic Council and National Security Council. In this role, Jon led government interagency processes on issues such as trade, international infrastructure investment, debt sustainability, and policymaking related to multilateral development banks and international financial institutions. Jon has also served as senior director for global markets at the Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration. Prior to government service, Jon worked in commercial strategy consulting.
Jon holds a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University, a master's of science degree from the London School of Economics, and a master of business administration from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
