Rachel leads Eurasia Group's global markets business across regions and is head of the firm's London office. She engages with a broad range of clients including institutional investors and advises on global political risks and their impact on financial markets and individual investment portfolios.
Prior to joining Eurasia Group, Rachel was head of business development in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for Innovation & Advisory solutions, a research arm of investment firm State Street that partners with renowned academics to develop sets of proprietary big data indicators. Before that, she worked for State Street's Global Markets Equity and Foreign Exchange divisions. Rachel has also worked for the UN, the Permanent Mission of Belgium to the UN, and Bloomberg LP. She holds an undergraduate degree in law and a master's degree in international relations from Belgium's Universite Libre de Bruxelles, as well as a master's degree in law and diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University. Once an avid field hockey player, Rachel now likes to equip her children with ball and stick and attempt to relive the dream playing in the garden.
