Sara Itagaki manages strategic partnerships for Eurasia Group with Japanese corporations and global firms with operations in Japan. She works closely with key stakeholders and client teams to build a platform for helping businesses understand where the G-Zero world is headed.
 
Prior to joining Eurasia Group, Sara worked for EY-Parthenon in Tokyo as a management consultant developing growth and acquisition strategies for corporate clients in the technology, energy, and consumer goods sectors. Before moving to Tokyo, Sara worked for the National Bureau of Asian Research as a part of its project team, working on trade, energy, and economic policies across the Asia-Pacific.

Sara earned a master's degree in Asian studies from the Walsh School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University, and a bachelor's degree in philosophy and international relations from Seattle University. In her free time, she enjoys freediving and underwater photography.
